| MISS HOLLY Holly Brucker is the owner/director of SVDC, and director of Saucon Valley Ballet Theatre. She is an instructor/ choreographer teaching Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical and Modern dance. She studied dance at George Mason University and DeSales University majoring in dance and minoring in marketing. She has studied dance under master teachers in New York, Philadelphia, Washington DC as well as with Alvin Ailey and the Washington Ballet and received a scholarship to study with Joe Tremaine in California. Holly has choreographed for George Mason University, DeSales University and also choreographed and taught for Lehigh University's Dance Club. She received the coveted choreographers award at StarQuest International for her piece of work 'Endangered Species'. She is a member of the Professional Dance Teachers Association and a Delegate for National Dance Week. She has Three children; Sabrina, Joshua and Olivia. MISS KRISTEN Kristen Hancz studied dance under Holly Brucker at SVDC for seven years. She is an instructor/choreographer of Jazz and Lyrical dance. This is her seventh year teaching at SVDC. At the 2005 KAR Dance Competition, Kristen received her first choreography award for her lyrical piece "I Believe". Kristen is an active member of PA Dance Vision. She became affiliated with the organization in 2005 while attending East Stroudsburg University. She also performed in ESU's Musical Revue for three years. Kristen earned a bachelor's degree in elementary education, with a concentration in the fine and performing arts. Kristen also teaches dance for the Horizons for Youth Program at Northampton Community College in the summer. Kristen attended Image International in Allentown and John Robert Powers of Philadelphia where she was trained in modeling and acting. She is currently signed with Cleri Model Management. She has been in regional and national commercials and has also been featured in the fall and spring issues of Modern Bride Magazine. Kristen is currently a fifth grade teacher in the Easton Area School District. MISS NORA Nora Filewicz has a BFA degree in dance from Kutztown University. While at the university, she performed with resident dance company "PDP", was the dance chairperson for their related arts festival and also minored in theatre and English/professional writing. Miss Nora has performed in the Miss Pennsylvania Pageant and in Disney World, Florida. She has dance teaching certificates from Dance Olympus and Broadway Dance Center. Some of her training has been with The Paul Taylor Company, Alvin Ailey and Ballet Hispanico. Miss Nora was choreographer for the musical "Godspell" performed by the Quakertown Youth Group. She serves as Artistic Director of the Saucon Valley Ballet Theatre which performed their first Nutcracker performance in December 2005. MISS KRYSTAL Krystal Wagner has been dancing for 19 years. She studied dance at SVDC where she graduated from the Teacher Training Program. She has been teaching tap and Jazz classes at SVDC for four years. Krystal attended the Philadelphia High School of the Performing Arts focusing in dance and music. She has studied with master teachers in Philadelphia and New York. Krystal has won many high scoring awards in competitions for her Tap and Jazz Dances. She is also a member of PA Dance Vision Dance Company. Krystal is a hairstylist at Gadzooks. MISS NOELLE Noelle Wagner has been dancing for twenty years. She danced at SVDC for seven years and graduated from the Teachers Training Program in 2001. In 2005, she graduated, cum laude, from Temple University with a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice. During her time there, she was taught by master teachers and choreographers from Temple University's dance major program. Noelle was chosen to dance in several performances including the student dance concert and faculty dance concert. She also danced on the Temple University Diamond Jems Dance Team. Currently, she is a full time legal secretary in addition to teaching dance. Noelle teaches Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Lyrical & Stretch classes. This fall will be her fourth year teaching at SVDC. MISS STEPHANIE Stephanie Chambers has been with SVDC for 10 years. She graduated from Moravian College with a degree in business and works for the Lehigh County Government Center during the day. She is certified in the Tumblebear/BabyBear Program and teaches the Early Childhood Education (ECE) classes. She has a daughter Natalie. MISS JEN M. Jennifer Majewski has been teaching HipHop for two years at SVDC. Jen graduated from East Stroudsburg University with a major in Secondary Education: Mathematics. Most recently she was a member of East Stroudsburg University's Dance Team where she performed for basketball games and events as well as assisted in choreography. Prior to dancing at ESU, Jen has studied dance locally for 10 years focusing on Lyrical, Ballet and Jazz. She currently is a math teacher at Liberty High School. MISS JAMIE Jamie Wisniewski is a graduate at SVDC. This is her second year teaching. She is a member of the PA Dance Vision Dance Company. Jamie teaches Jazz and Tap. MISS JEN H. Jennifer Hancz is new to our family of dance instructors this year. She has trained under Holly Brucker for eight years. She graduated from SVDC Teacher Training Program and worked at SVDC as a receptionist. Jennifer attended East Stroudsburg University and has taken many dance classes through the university's dance program. Since graduating cum laude with a bachelor's degree in elementary education and a concentration in the fine and performing arts, she has been employed by the Catasauqua School District. Jen teaches Jazz and Lyrical. |
